Knight Real Estate leases pavilion at Kirkhill Business Park

Knight Real Estate, a Chess Property Group plc company, has reached agreement to lease over 14,000sq ft of space at its £10million Kirkhill Business Park in Dyce, Aberdeen.

It is to lease the whole of Pavilion 5 at the development to well services provider Seawell Limited in a three-year agreement.

The deal, struck at a rent of £14.50 per sq ft, means that the only remaining space is that of Pavilion 4, which is now under offer.

The 14,175sq ft pavilion 5 was completed last year as part of the second phase of the development in one of the north-east's prime industrial and commercial hubs.

Knight Real Estate Managing Director James Barrack says "This agreement is further testimony to the advantages the location enjoys in terms of transport links and proximity to many of the key players in the energy industry".

"Seawell Limited has enjoyed significant growth in recent times and we hope Kirkhill Business Park will offer it the basis for continued success".

"The development has proved a successful investment for Knight Real Estate and we expect it to be fully occupied in the next eight weeks."

In December it was announced Fairfield Energy Ltd was to take occupancy of the 9,158sq ft Pavilion 3 at the business park on a five-year lease.
